The last few days, I spent time considering different options to improve the performance of my wood stove. Recently, I had modified it to heat water, saving us considerably. I've decided to double the heat exchange for higher efficiency, and more hot water, can even cook on it... With firewood on my mind, I scouted around our property and came across some fallen Alder, aged enough, pretty wet, but it will do. Ending my day on peach pie w/whipped cream (I am picky and whip it myself).
